A Homecoming in Art: The First International Private Showcase of CARMELO Paris

Updated: Sep 3

Manila has always been a place of deep personal significance—a city of formative years, early inspirations, and a profound connection to heritage. Returning, not just as an artist but as the visionary behind CARMELO Paris, to present my first international private showcase was more than a milestone; it was a full-circle moment. This experience was about offering a part of my artistic journey back to the place where so much of it began.

A Gift to the Philippines: The Exclusive Capsule Séries

At the heart of this showcase was a deeply personal creation: The Sparrow Bird Capsule Séries, a Philippine exclusive.

Sparrows, or locally known as "Maya Maya" ever-present in my childhood memories, are symbols of community, resilience, and hope—values that shaped me and continue to inspire my type of Crystal Artistry.

Each piece in this series was crafted with the same meticulous attention to detail that defines the brand, infused with the spirit of the Philippines. This series is more than an homage; it is a tribute, a piece of my artistic soul dedicated to a country that nurtured my early dreams.

A Sneak Peek into Myth and Mastery: The Aurora Dragon Masterpiece Séries

Manila was also the first to witness an exclusive preview of the well received Aurora Dragon Masterpiece Séries exhibited in Paris, a continuation of CARMELO Paris’s mythical storytelling in Crystal Art Objects and Jewelry. The Dragon emerges as an emblem of power—an exquisite fusion of legend and elegance. The unveiling of Veil of Aurora and Aurora’s Keeper in this private setting was a defining moment, affirming that this artistry resonates deeply with collectors who seek more than mere objects; they seek stories carved in crystal, movement captured in stone.

In Partnership with House of O: A Celebration of Artisanal Excellence

This showcase was made possible through House of O, and its first edition of curating and celebrating extraordinary artistry. Alongside original designs of Coral Jewelry and other rare objects gathered from the organizer’s travels, the showcase of CARMELO Paris found its place in a carefully curated space that honored craftsmanship and cultural narratives. To be welcomed so warmly by its audience, was a profound validation of the brand’s vision. My gratitude to everyone responsible for a pleasant experience and as early as now, a huge

congratulations for a successful edition. An Experience That Validates and Inspires

This showcase was a moment of validation. To witness the admiration of art collectors, enthusiasts and connoisseurs and those who understood the language of gemstones was to recognize the universal appreciation of our craftsmanship. It reaffirmed the CARMELO Paris ethos—that each creation is not just an object, but a testament to artistry, history, and emotion.

More than an exhibition, this was an exchange—a bridge between my origins and my present, between heritage and innovation, between the intimate and the extraordinary. And as I step forward with CARMELO Paris, Manila will always remain a cornerstone of this artistic journey, a city that welcomed me back as a storyteller in stone and light.

This is only the beginning. ___
