At my last art fair, I found myself standing among towering sculptures — bold forms in bronze, and wood. It was almost exclusively a sculptor’s space, and there I was: the only stand offering crystal art objects.
At first, it felt strange. I wondered if I truly belonged among the giants of form and material. But then came the unexpected — attention and praise. Curators, collectors, and fairgoers alike noted that my presentation was a carefully curated exception. In an almost all-sculptural fair, I offered something different: the Art Object.
For me, this was a moment of clarity. At CARMELO Paris, I’ve always believed that my pieces are not simply decorative items. They are Art Objects — intentional presence in a room, created with the devotion of bespoke crystal artistry. Over time, they found their truest definition: Bespoke Crystal Art Objects.

What makes them Art Objects? By CARMELO Paris’ own definition:
They hold memory and movement, beyond mere form.
They are designed not only to be admired, but to be lived with.
They carry both beauty and devotion, shaped by natural gemstones and poetic craftsmanship.
The African Bird Crystal Masterpiece Séries embodies this definition most vividly. A flamingo in pink quartz, or a heron in clear quartz — each bird is not just a sculpture, nor just a decorative piece.
They are Art Objects because they exist in between: sculptural in mastery, yet devotional in presence. Each one reflects both the artistry of intentional design and the spirituality of crystal energy. And perhaps that is where CARMELO Paris belongs: not strictly sculpture, not simply decoration — but the rare language of the Art Object.
